There are often three, or even four, generations in a family. To maintain health and wellbeing, each generation’s needs are different.
The young generation, Children are our future. From newborn baby, to toddler, to kids, to teenager, to adolescent, to young adult, the child’s body and mind has been undergoing a lot of growth and development which lay the foundation for the most demanding stage of life as mature adulthood and parenthood.
There are at least two helpful things could be done.
The first thing is to be proactive. Care, attention, firsthand observation, hands-on experience (palpation etc.), communication would help the parents to understand and gain insight into the child’s conditions and needs. The second thing is to help pick the right choice. We know that “habits die hard”, habits have long term effects on health and wellbeing of a person. It is believed that good habits help to keep health and well-being, while bad habits too often are associated with sufferings of all sorts. One of the most important investments for the health and well-being of the children is to help them form good habits. The knowledge and experience TCM have to offer are valuable and helpful.
The senior generation, for those still enjoying health and wellbeing, well done and keep it that way; for those suffering from ongoing health problems, it is worthwhile to try TCM treatment.
In terms of treatment options, TCM provides options to choose from include, but not limited to, lifestyle recommendations, exercises that work on the body’s systems, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine.
In terms of ways to help the body functioning, TCM can help functioning of the body in many ways. Some of the most common ones are to sleep better, to improve appetite, to have regular bowl and urination functions, to have support for energy and organ function. In a sense, live a normal way of life is the beginning of maintaining health and wellbeing.
For the middle generation, you are in the most demanding stage of life. You need to look after yourself well so that you can better looking after your family.
A wise approach is spending limited resources in keeping reasonable health and wellbeing. TCM can offer a lot to help. Prevention is priority. Prompt attention and treatment at early stage is preferred.
